Tilly, a white and black cat

An update from Farplace Animal Rescue

We currently are caring for 64 cats, 18 rabbits, 15 terrapins and an assortment of other animals. Most of the animals in our care are looking for homes and are on our website www.farplace.org.uk

A few of our animals are resident due to health or behavioural issues, so do not feature on our website, but still need care and attention.

All our cats and rabbits are neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. All the other animals in our care receive appropriate vet care too. As you can imagine, our vet costs are huge, and we are always needing donations to help us continue to care for these little friends.

Please could you help support our ongoing costs? You can donate through our website www.farplace.org.uk

If you would like to donate directly to our vets, we can give you the details, as it will be very appreciated.

The little girl in the picture is Tilly. She is an old lady in foster care and is not for adoption due to her failing health. She has recently had a scan and has problems with her liver, kidneys, gut, and lymph glands. We are awaiting biopsy results. Tilly is nearly 16 years of age and has mobility issues. She may not be with us much longer, but while we wait for her biopsy results, she is enjoying her retirement at her foster home.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is Charlie

Charlie is a special boy arrived recently at Farplace Animal Rescue. He has a condition making him doubly incontinent and meaning his tail had to be amputated. He has medicine and needs bathing every day, but it a bouncy happy boy that runs around and plays all day. We are happy to be able to help Charlie.

New website nearly finished

We are just putting the finishing touches on this new website. Within a week, we will have tickets for the event for sale and the style will be finished. Bear with us as we get it all sorted and we look forward to welcoming lots of you to Portsmouth at our stunning beachside location.
